Overview to Changes for the program Technical Inventory

Please note the following instructions during the installation of technical inventory on 64-bit systems.
Below you will find information about changes, as well as the related downloads.

- Bug fix in cost calculation for maintenance contracts for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual periods.

Inventory-Mainapplication:
- Fixed an error where, after deleting a room in the room management, the room was still included in the selection dialog for rooms, so that errors occurred when a room with the same floor and room number was entered again, although the room was actually deleted in the database.
- For tools (only for application calls), it can now be specified whether they should be run with a different user account (login dialog appears). With pressed CTRL key, the login dialog can still be forced if the hook is not checked or suppressed if the hook is checked.
- Adjustments to the update check.

Inventory-Mainapplication:
- The size of the hardware- and accessright-list in the user dialog can now be changed by splitter.
- The inventory number for inventory objects and licenses (rights and software) can now be automatically assigned through Technical Inventory. To do this, select in the settings under Others the option “Inventory no. generate automatically" and enter, if necessary, a last inventory number. as format (see help).
- Fixed errors that could occur when adding a print to a consumable material if a printer was previously deleted from that consumable material.

Inventory-Mainapplication:
- Label printing for individual inventory objects adjusted to the overall pressure in the search service. Fixed bug with single print, where the margin setting was not taken into account.
- Fixed a bug where a user who was restricted to certain departments could create new rooms in the room management that already existed at the same location with the same floor and room number, but were assigned to a department to which the user was not authorized is. Technical Inventory no longer started correctly afterwards.
- Fixed a bug when generating the inventory list, where inventory objects that were only assigned to one room were not displayed if "All" was selected for each selection.

Inventory-Mainapplication:
- It is now possible to delete old data from users and inventory objects centrally via Extras - Delete old data. The data to be deleted can be filtered by outsourcing date and supplier. The number of data to be deleted is displayed and the type of data to be deleted can be selected. At the end of the deletion, a log is generated as a CSV file.
- In the settings can now be chosen that the inventory date should be updated by the network inventorisation.
- Fixed a bug where the ID of the entry was not displayed in the tables if you hover over it with the mouse (e.g. suppliers).

- Fixed an issue where loading the hardware icons would abort with an error message.

Inventory-Mainapplication:

- Access rights licenses can now be assigned to a department during the registration. This ensures that a user can only be assigned the access right licenses assigned to his department or a parent department. Access right licenses that are not assigned to any department can still be assigned to all users.

PC-Dataextension:

- The splash screen is displayed again at the start.

Inventory-Mainapplication:
- Improvement of e-mail creation in case an exemption in the program.
- The output of network inventory has been revised. The query can now be canceled.
- Troubleshooting by printing of labels from the search service. Labels could not be printed, because an exception occurred.
- Troubleshooting the print preview of the search service. The print preview could not be displayed, if no default printer was set. Instead, an exception was thrown.
- Optimization of the general table editing - it has been set the maximum width of a column to 500 pixels, so, for example, to long Comments do not pull apart the dialogue too broad.
